Outdoor Gear Swap
Sponsored by the TN Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club

An outdoor gear swap will be held on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 from 8AM to noon in the parking lot of the Eastman Employee Center located 400 South Wilcox Drive in Kingsport. The event is being sponsored by the TN Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club to give folks a chance to trade surplus equipment. Think backpacking, biking, camping, canoeing, climbing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding. Do you have a “no longer used and in good condition” external frame pack, but need a water filter? Then come find another outdoor enthusiast to make a trade.

Everything at this equipment swap needs to be directly related to the outdoor activities. (Sorry, no ammo, arrows, guns, or long knives due to site regulations.) There is no cost to display, browse, or trade. While the intent is to trade or swap gear, items can be sold in order to clear out the garage.

For those wanting a 12’x12′ display space in the parking lot, please fill out and e-mail the pre-registration located on the club website. This is required to help event organization. The event will be held rain or shine outside in the large parking lot.
