Recent warm temperatures in the Boise area are leading to an earlier than normal spring run off.
Soon river levels will rise, as snow that’s been melting in the higher elevations flows into the Payette, Boise, and Snake Rivers.
However, forecasters believe the state will need a larger snow pack and colder spring temperatures next year to avoid facing a water shortage.
