Alright my friends, here we go again!! It’s Wednesday and you know what that means?! Time to break out the tupperware and stretch out the shoulders. We’re going boating.

First of all, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has been attending these weekly events. These have been a highlight of my week and they wouldn’t be possible without our rad community of shredders. So go ahead and high five someone near you real hard to share the stoke.

We’ve had a broad selection of events so far this season including big water boater X and time trials, play boating rodeos, head to head races, and some real solid time on the river together. This week, we are going to slow things down a bit and dive into a realm that we have not yet visited. I have been intentionally waiting for this one because I wanted everyone to get a chance to get to know each other. After all, whitewater kayaking is a team sport, and we have a pretty sick team.

So, without further adieu, I bring to you this weeks World Kayak Wednesday event…… Lower Icicle Creek Group Paddle and Creeking Technique Workshop!!

This is an opportunity for us all to get in our creek boats, on a creek, and back each other up while we work down the class III-IV gem that is lower Icicle Creek. With safety in the forefront of our minds (as per usual) and some solid support, this is the perfect opportunity to step it up if this section of river has been on your list. If lower Icicle Creek is super boring for you and you would rather go do laps on Exit, come out any way and flex some steezy lines.

Today the level is just above 1300 cfs which is super chill. Lets plan to meet at the Snow Lakes trail head at 5:30 and we’ll make this happen. Icicle Canyon holds light nice and late so hopefully we can get a couple laps in. I look forward to seeing everyone tonight!!

Cheers,

T-Pot!!
