Wesley R. Bradley will lead an Upper Russell Fork River Trip (Class II-III) for those that want to join the group.  This is a great run for play and river running.  You can run the upper in a play boat, river runner or creek boat.  There are some boofs and there are some play features.  The best of both worlds!

The weather forecast is looking very nice for a partly cloudy fall day w/ high temp in the  mid 70′s.  Make sure you bring some cold weather layers with temps starting off in the low 50′s!

Due to the goverment shutdown, we can not use the John Flannigan Dam Rec Area for put-in to run the Pound River into the Russell Fork.  So we will plan to meet @ 10:00 A.M. on Saturday (10/12/2013) at the Bartlick Bridge put-in to drop boats & gear.  Then we will set shuttle to Garden Hole.
